JOHN D. LOFTIN II

As a fourth-generation North Carolina attorney, John has always had the law in his blood. His family tradition goes back to his great-grandfather who served as a federal district court judge in Eastern NC.

John believes that persuasion is best effectuated through story and John learned the art of story while working in the entertainment industry. As a actor, John appeared in a number of television productions and various comedy clubs while living in New York and Los Angeles. As a writer, John penned a syndicated opinion column in the now defunct newspaper The Slammer.

As an Associate Attorney with Loftin & Loftin, John’s practice is focused on personal injury law and contract disputes. Here he has assisted the firm in successfully litigating large awards for its clients. His practice also involves matters that involve Federal Indian law. John has successfully defended an Indian Tribe’s sovereign immunity from tort claims brought in state court. John has also helped numerous clients close their real estate transactions and assisted with estate planning, litigation, and administration.

Contact John by phone or email if you want an attorney who wants to form a team with you. With your assistance and input, we will design a legal strategy to protect you or your business. John is happy to discuss alternative payment plans or limited representation services (if applicable) for your legal matter.
